I proclaim this week to be...Salad Week

Just to mix things up a bit, I'm going to eat mostly salads for lunches/dinners this week. Think of it as the anti-"Supersize Me." I already went to the store today to stock up.

  1. Well, I never said I was doing this to be healthy.

  2. KPMD - Yeah, it's sure to clean my pipes. I'll e-mail you the after pics.

Christy - Well, I guess it's partly motivated by health concerns. But I'm not going all veggie: I also have chicken, salmon, and eggs (eventually hard boiled) to put into the salads. I'm not giving up liquor, though.

Also, part boredom, I guess. Studying for the bar has made me looney.

  3. The Best Salad Ever: Red and Green Leaf with dried cranberries, pecans, crumbled bleu cheese and a simple vinaigrette.

Ahh... you have me wanting salad... which is a vast improvement considering all the cookies and crap around the office today.

  4. I didn't buy any of that!

I bought some romaine, iceburg, spinach, and a few prepackaged Emeril dealies. Then red/green peppers, two bottles of dressing (zesty italian, caesar), chicken, salmon, bacon, eggs, parmesan and mozzarella.

I forgot to buy anchovies. Dammit!

Ahh... the sweet nectar of the Bluegrass. There's nothing better.

  7. I used to be a JD guy, but that changed when a friend (Shamrock) turned me onto MM in Vegas. There's not enough Os in "smoooooove"... Although, a friend of a friend is on the board of directors for this company that makes Alabama bourboan and that stuff was NICE. Hopefully, it'll get distributed in OH one day.
