I still can't believe it! Though I kind of still miss the Jim Marshall Run-it-up-the-middle-for-no-gain-on-the-play Era....Just kidding. Not really.
Don't you forget it!And statistically, the run-up-the-middle had to work at least once. Sadly, it didn't.
I did the math. Four 2-yard runs up the middle = 8 yards. First down = 10 yards. So, no.
