My Autumn Mix 2010

Okay, so I wanted to get this up quite a while back, but real life got in the way. So think of it as sort of an appetizer for next month's A Very Micah Christmas.

Requiem for Lt. Frank Drebin

R.I.P. Leslie Nielsen, 1926-2010.

I sincerely hope that while his doctor was attending to him, someone would periodically enter the room and say, "I just want to tell you both good luck. We're all counting on you."

Pixelated Pigskin Prognostications: Week Thirteen

I was put in charge of the Thanksgiving turkey this year. So yesterday morning I got everything ready and was set to go, except for one little detail: my big ass turkey frying pot was still in Richmond (and extremely grimy). Luckily, Mom had a back-up turkey roast waiting in the wings and Thanksgiving was saved. The deep fried turkey was then reserved for today's family get together for the big Ohio State/Michigan game. Funny how things work out.

And what does the Great Xbox 360 Swami see when it gazes into its crystal processor? Well, the CPU vs. CPU match foresaw the following:

Ohio State 49, Michigan 16

God bless us, everyone.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. I've been charged with deep frying the bird this year (no pressure!), so if you'll excuse me, I've got to prep my turkey. Get your mind out of the gutter. It's a family holiday.

Pixelated Pigskin Prognostications: Week Twelve

Well, as the November winds pick up and Thanksgiving dinner preparations are made, Richmond must close its regular season against the mighty Tribe Politically Correct Whatever They're Called Nows. How will the Spiders (and the Buckeyes, for that matter) do? Only the Great Xbox 360 Swami knows. Here are this afternoon's outcomes, as predicted through a series of CPU vs. CPU matches:

Ohio State 34, Iowa 17

Richmond 31, William & Mary 23

Word to your mother.

Pixelated Pigskin Prognostications: Week Eleven

I've got a lot to do (so much that I forget to submit picks to my own college football pool this week), so there's no time to write a witty little introduction. Here are the Great Xbox 360 Swami's CPU vs. CPU picks for the afternoon:

Ohio State 40, Penn State 24

Richmond 3, Rhode Island 10

Those are the games and I am outta here.

Pixelated Pigskin Prognostications: Week Ten

Halloween's over, November's here. While we rake leaves and sip hot apple cider, the Great Xbox 360 Swami is busy crunching numbers, predicting who will win today's game via a CPU vs. CPU match. So, what's in store this afternoon? Glad you asked:

Richmond 24, JMU 25

Loverly.
