Where'd my weekend go?

Oh, that's right - I spent the better part of my waking hours playing "Lord of the Rings: The Third Age". It's been quite a while since the last time I lost a weekend by completely nerding out over a video game. That was likely during the height of my "Katamari Damacy" craze.

Anyway, my 10 year old nephew aided me in my quest, serving as a wingman of sorts. I'm sure that you can picture he and I arguing over which is the best method for killing a Flying Nazgul: Hadhod's Flames of Ruin or Berethor's Ecthelion Wrath. I mean, duh. It's pretty obvious.

Did I mention that I don't have a girlfriend?

Sweet Jebus, Micah! All I can do is thank you for making me seem cool.

you really didn't need to micah.

you really shouldn't have, in fact.

not that my bachelorhood period (long and sometimes lonely and sad as it was) was anywhere near this nerdy...

You're welcome. And God willing we'll all meet up again in Spaceballs 2: The Search for More Money!

Pfff, like I have time for playing video games. With work eating up most of my week, I barely have any time for Dungeons and Dragons on the weekend. My paladin/ranger got ganked by a ghast last Friday too. If it weren't for our clerics I'd have been a goner!

jasdye - Aw, c'mon. You know that if I lived near you, you'd show up on my doorstep dressed as a hobbit, wanting to join me in my noble pursuit.

dubin - Funny. You don't look Druish.

WR - Ha! My sister-in-law just bought Warcraft. Please don't kill her.

that game was tight, no?

I'd clown you, but you know what they say about those glass houses...

Well, you were the one who planted the seed of me buying this game.

I FINALLY beat Helm's Deep tonight. That was a freakin' struggle, until I looked on the web and found out how to bring the pain.
