If the sweater fits...

Do the box of Krusty-Os and Shaun of the Dead figure diminish my erudite look? Is Louis Armstrong mocking me?

gone with the wind? seriously, that's the most academic/stodgy book you could find for this phot-op?

yes, louis armstrong's bobble head is laughing at you. however, the real satchmo is crying in his grave.

Well, that book is a classic. I have others, but their titles would've been too hard to see in the picture. What do you know, Yankee?

Okay Micah, enough fashion. Were is my "best of 2007" music roundup? How am I supposed to pretend I'm a hipster without your guidance? ;)

Seriously, last years roundup introduced me to 2 of my favorite albums from that year.

jasdye - Oh, you're one of them. I think that if I lived in Chicago I'd be a Cubs fan.

mehrdad - You're in luck. Next week is "Best Of" week. I've just been in a pickle deciding if records released in the UK in '06 but domestically in '07 would count on the list. So, I've revised my system and got it all hammered out.

Just out of curiousity, what are those two albums?

Sweet! I can't wait until next week then. Please by all means, DO include Brit albums in your list. My 3 fave albums were:
1. The Fratellis - Costello Music
2. Lily Allen - Alright, Still
3. Amy Winehouse - Back to Black

Now do you see why I want the Brits included? ;) I don't know what it was about the British acts this year (I know they came out in 2006 over there), but these albums really did it for me.

Also, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Werewolves and Lollipops gets a special mention.
