As I was getting ready for work yesterday morning, some frightening news broke: Kathie Lee Gifford is joining "Today." NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I wish this was an April Fool's Day joke, but it is not.

1) True, since I don't think she comes on until the 10 o'clock hour, long after I've left the house. The fact that she's still out there in the television ether gives me the heebie-jeebies, though.
2) Her son, who she talked about constantly when she was on the show with Regis.
