Way to go, Floyd

Congratulations to Floyd Landis for winning the 103rd Tour de France.

Pissing off the cheese-eating surrender monkeys by having an American win it for the eighth straight time is just icing on the cake.

dude's INTENSE!

i really didn't know this b/c i haven't been watching the tube lately (partially per the fiancee), but of course i go to her parent's house and that's most of what we do. which is how i learned that not-so-pink floyd has major hip probs and that every turn on the pedals kills him. but he uses that as motivation to triumph.

dag, and here i thought all americans were lazy.

surrender, francos, surrender!

It really was an exciting Tour this year. No real clear winner throughout it. A few stages ago Landis had the yellow jersey and then lost it by falling 8 MINUTES behind, only to regain 7+ minutes a stage later. And then win it all. CRAZY.

Now, if he can pull a Lance and win it post-surgery, that'd be awesome. As it is, it's still a great accomplishment.

And his wife's a cutie, too.

THE most exciting tour in a while, fer sure.

of course it was MY mustache o' solidarity that probably gave him the edge.

way to go floyd. too bad for discovery, they sure could use him, wonder if he'll sign???

Definitely an awesome race this year. It's just so much more exciting when there isn't a known winner ahead of time. (kinda like when Michael Jordan retired... the second time)

I hope this doping thing isn't real.

just takes the fun out of the whole thing.

Americans ARE lazy. He didn't win, he cheated. I woke up to the news on the radio this morning "and the positive test in this year's Tour de France belonged to Floyd Landis..."

WHATTTT???

say it ain't so, joe, say it ain't so!

does that mean SI'll do a full cover on him next week?

Testosterone? Doesn't that just mean he's extra manly?

And isn't he, like, a mennonite? Don't they frown on lots of modern conveniences?

Meh, his religion doesn't mean sh*t. Ideally, it should but this ain't an ideal world.

I'll believe Floyd based on his record and his word. That's all a man's really got anyhow.

Hopefully, the allegations are untrue and he'll be vindicated.

I believe it was Lance Armstrong who said, "All I have in this world is my ball and my word, and I don't break 'em for no one."

Floyd looks like a muppet.

It's official: Floyd's B sample is positive.

I'm off to watch Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. Now there's an American hero that I can believe in.
