This is your brain on Jager

I ended my self-imposed social exile last night when KtG and D-Lovely rolled into town.

Now I ain't sayin' she's a gold digger...

I also discovered my foosball prowess. Much love to my teammates KtG and Fraley. We are the champions.

Good to see you're getting out and about, Micah. And with some nice-looking birds at that. Please say that you were able to fully exploit all the Chick Cred you had going on...you scored some digits, yes?

As for me and mine, The Captain and I polished off a couple pitchers at our bar that just happened to be closed for a private party. Now if I could only exploit that social proof...hmmm, the possibilities.

It was nice to get out amongst my peers (and those a little bit younger). And then I've got a birthday get together at a bar to go to this week, in addition to the Christmas cocktail party that I'm throwing. My dance card is full at the moment.

Chick Cred? Me? Please. I don't - nor have I ever - "scored digits." It's not the Micah Way. That may explain why I've been alone for the past decade. The Way may need some tweaking.

Hey, you got into a private party. That's awesome. You didn't lay any mack down?

spydrz - Never saw Coach Carter, so the reference is lost on me. Did Sam Jackson yell, "yes, the basketball team deserves to die and I hope they burn in hell"?

There was no macking to be done; the bar was literally empty as the private party had not arrived yet. Being the good Regulars that we are, we didn't overstay our welcome.

There will be other opportunities...

So, I just checked my receipt and realized we left at 1:30a.m. It's amazing we just didn't take the foosball table with us when we left. I've gotta say, that night may have begun many nights of shots and waitresses for the near future Micah, so get ready. The holiday party will be another stepping stone.

"No, Colonel Sanders, you're wrong; mama's right."

I just returned to the land of the living after a couple days off and the drunken stupor of Saturday night.

I plead the 5th to anything incriminating. Well, except for that foosball game. We rocked that big time. Who knew you were a hustler...
