Bar Exam: Day Three

DONE! Six essay questions - Contracts, Civil Procedure, Evidence, Property, Professional Responsibility, and Constitutional Law. Still tough, but I'm just glad to be done with it.

I have a bunch of alcohol and rented the third season of 24. I'm just going to bunker down for the weekend.

Now all I have to do is wait until 7 am April 29th, when results are announced.

Enjoy season three. You've earned it.

I'm on the second episode right now and I'm not buying that Kim is some computer genius. But at least I now know why Jack got that tattoo.

spydrz said...

Kim being a computer nerd is just as plausible as Kiefer Sutherland being a Federal Agent.

Arrrrgh! Another mole at CTU.

Micah, CONGRATS on being done, trust me, I know how good it feels. No more bar exams for us...hopefully!!

Mole Mole Mole Mole...
Just like in Austin Powers.

ITTS!!! Great to hear from you, babe. I'm soooo jealous that Florida's bar is only two days long. If you were up here I'd buy you one of those vanilla cream thingy alcohol drinks that you like so much. Bottoms up!

What episode are you on now?

What a relief, Micah! Glad you got through everything ok. I'll be checking in with you on Sunday night...I'm off to TENNIS CAMP tomorrow!

Micah said...

panthergirl - Thanks! It's great to be done. Have fun at band, er, tennis camp.

spydrz - I'm on the fifth episode. Good stuff. Took a break to go out to dinner with a friend.

Good for you! Glad to hear eveything went well! Enjoy season three Jack has some great interrogation scenes!

Congrats, Micah. Enjoy Jack, some Captain, Kim's awful bangs, and the knowledge that you never have to take the bar again.

And you only think you know why Jack got the tattoo. In episode 12, we learn the tattoo is the real mole. Who knew?!?!

Yay Micah! Here's to bitch-slapping the bar like a red-headed stepchild. I'm glad you can finally stop concentrating on that silly law stuff and start really preparing for the important stuff - like the gay superbowl.

Micah said...

cali girl - The interrogation scenes are the best. I can't wait. Thanks!

CB - Ha! I was just thinking of how terrible Kim's hair is. Right now I'm curious as to how a gringo like Jack infiltrated the drug ring. Hopefully, I'll find out.

KPMD - Awwww, yeah! The Oscars are only a couple of days away. Who are you wearing?

KPMD said...

I'll be wearing a lovely flannel two-piece ensemble by Old Navy. Warm, with a touch of whimsy. Jewelry provided by McGuire & McGuire. And you?

Micah said...

Most likely paisley print pajama bottoms by French designer Target and a t-shirt by Spiders of Richmond. Coy, yet dangerous. Or maybe I'll wear a suit by Antoine Bugleboy.

spydrz said...

What day is that award thing on?

KPMD said...

Dude, it's on on Sunday. Like it is every year. I think that this question automatically disqualifies you from winning the Oscar pool.

Micah said...

The traditional time for lavish award shows: Sunday night.

24 update: Hector's cute wife/girlfriend/whatever has got some DSLs!

Captain Backfire said...

Anyone with DSLs that large cannot, by law, be called "cute". By definition, that person must start at "hot". She is not "Crush of the Week" material.

KPMD--your late-arriving Oscar picks scare me. I'm pretty confident in my choices, but yours give me pause for concern.

KPMD said...

CB - I, too, am a bit worried about my picks this year as I have not seen many of the movies on the list. However, I am confident that our combined vast knowledge and insight into the world of entertainment will spur one if not both of us to victory. At least we know spydrz is no threat.

Micah said...

CB - Good point. I deem her...HAWT.

As for the Oscar picks, there could always be spoilers. But spydrz will never win. I have seen only a couple of the Oscar movies (Ray, Spider-man 2, the Jesus movie). I'm putting more faith than usual in EW's predictions issue.

Captain Backfire said...

Sadly, my knowledge of the Hollywood machine does not extend far enough into Documentary (Short Subject) territory. But in the Feature category, it's hard to not pick a documentary about birthing camels. That's got "Oscar Bait" written all over it.

Now what was it Chris Rock said about straight men not watching the Oscars? Don't know where he'd get that idea....

Captain Backfire said...

Oh, and I'm calling it now: Best Supporting Actress will be a surprise/upset. Mark my words.

KPMD said...

My heart says Virginia Madsen, but my head says Cate Blanchett. The question is do I vote my conscience or play the odds?

Micah said...

Now you know how I felt during the 2000 presidential election.

KPMD said...

True dat, boo. I'm off to bed, have a shot for me, Micah. And tell Kiefer I said "Hi".

Micah said...

Will do. I think I'm done with Kiefer and the DSLs tonight. I'm buzzing, so that means SKINEMAX! Nighty-night.

Kate The Great said...

It's all over. Now you just have to wait until the results come back. I'm sure the doctor will say everything's just fine.

Oh wait, we're waiting for law school test results.

Anyway.

Glad it's over... let the partying begin, and only wrap up once you have a job, er, while you're on the job.

spydrz said...

How am I supposed to know what day it's on? I don't watch those things.

Micah said...

KtG - I don't think I'm young enough for the non-stop party thing, but I'll try.

spydrz - Oh, c'mon. You've hung around KPMD, CD, and me long enough that these types of things should be seared - SEARED - into your memory.

spydrz said...

Why is it on a Sunday night? I guess most folks don't stay up to watch it.

A Touch of Style said...

After all of that work, you definitley deserve a weekend to indulge. Make the most of it.

A Touch of Style :)

Thanks! I finished up my 24 marathon last night.
