I'm your Sim

I'm plagued by two things: a huge reading pile and indecisiveness. As I finish my latest book, I turn to you, my beloved readers, to instruct me as to what tome I shall next tackle. Here are your options:

A) On the Wealth of Nations by P.J. O'Rourke
B) Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut
C) Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis
D) The Man Comes Around: The Spiritual Journey of Johnny Cash by Dave Urbanski
E) Band of Brothers by Stephen Ambrose

My reading pile is significantly bigger than just these five books (waaaaaay bigger, in fact), but the above provide a good cross section of my library and are all recent purchases/loans. And I'm in the mood to read any of them. So, direct me as to what I will read next, friends. I'll take suggestions for the next few days or so and whatever gets a plurality of votes will be the winner. It's just that easy to control my life.

"Band of Brothers" is an interesting, and relatively quick, read. Of course I have a bias towards historical books. I wonder why.

All of those sound great. But maybe that's only because I have to spend the next 5 days reading about toxicoloy, cardiology, musculoskeletal diseases, and anesthesia and surgery.

finish 'count of monte cristo' you puss. dry your tears and stop whining about how long it is. you only read one page at a time whether the book is a 100 pages or a 1000.

but other than that the cs lewis is great, you've never read that? the vonnegut is a very quick read, like 2 days, but i didnt think it was anything as great as everyone says.

Bring up the Johnny Cash book. I'll read it before you decide which one to read next. HA!

Thanks, folks. It seems most of the regulars have chimed in, yet there's no consensus. I'll keep taking votes for a couple of more days. In the meantime it's Hollywood Wives for me (again).
