Add it to my Christmas list

In my daily surfing, I came across this: a talking Dennis Miller doll

I never thought that I'd see the day when Dennis Miller came in doll form. I may just have to pick this up sometime. Hell, I already have the talking Bush and Reagan dolls. Hopefully, they'll produce a P.J. O'Rourke doll in the future.

And if you haven't seen Miller's stand-up special The Raw Feed, you're really missing out. It's hilarious.

P J O'Rourke. I have two of his books. One is the Parliament of Whores. Haven't read them yet,,, given to me by a good GOP friend, somehow though I just can't muster the discipline at this point in my schedule to read something that has more than 200 pages and no advertisements.

PJ's a good read--and a quick one. I have at least one of Micah's old PJ books. Even one of my grad school profs has a PJ book in his office. This from the prof who had a "Ben 'Cooter' Jones for Congress" sticker on his van back when he ran in my district.

spydrz - A boy's gotta have his toys. In my defense, the dolls were gifts (but sure are cool). I just remembered that I also have a non-talking Reagan one, as well as a Gorbachov one.

KtG - I understand fully, but do yourself a favor and read Parliament of Whores. It's by far P.J.'s best and really does a good job of breaking down how the federal government works. If you're afraid of GOP indoctrination, don't worry. O'Rourke's more of a libertarian.

A bunch of years ago OSU accidentally put his occupation down as "drunk" in a school alum guide. Someone ended up getting fired over it.

That's pretty funny and I'm sure he wouldn't argue with the listing. I thought O'Rourke went to Miami, though.

Ack! I was talking about Dennis Miller, who did, in fact, argue. A lot.

Didn't realize the Miller was a Buckeye. Cool!
