The emperor has new clothes

Maybe you've noticed that my blog has a new template. I liked the old cookie-cutter Blogger one, but I wanted to be somewhat different from the pack. I just stumbled upon this free skin. It's only temporary, though. Hopefully, in the future I'll purchase one exclusively designed for me.

Until then, lay it on me. Keep this skin? Ditch it and go back to the old one? Change it (I'll definitely need assistance doing that)?

EDIT: Okay, I've played around with the blog and put up two new templates: a green one and one with hula girls on it. I'm not sure which one I will choose to use. Both are easier to read than the red and blue one, though.

Just to get the ball rolling...

I will recapitulate from my last post, I'm feeling this new skin, but I liked the other one, too. This one is definitely sleeker (the more happy-go-lucky). I think the old skin may have been easier to read though. I just hope that if you get a "designer" skin it is all about buffalo plaid.

BTW - I truly, truly enjoyed ALIAS. If I had a spooning pillow, it would be getting sooooooooooooooo lucky tonight.

(Repost as my first comment seems to have disappeared)

I'm feeling the new skin. Old skin was less "sleek", but perhaps easier to read. I look forward to your designer skin, which will undoubtedly feature buffalo plaid.

The new skin goes well with the latest "Carbon Leaf" CD.

The new skin has a nice look, but the white on navy gives me a headache.

Micah - I like the hula girls! And as said before, the posts are much easier to read. Would be cool if the background weren't white, but I guess beggars can't be choosers. I'm glad you're making such good use of your study time!

Spydrz - If you read carefully you will see that I reposted as my first post did not show up on the blog last night. Either that or the bourbon and pills is making me post double, double.

Yep, sometimes the blogger software can be annoying like that...posts take a while to show up...

Yeah, Blogger sucks like that. As you can see, I chose the hula girls. I figure that they go well with my proclivity towards Hawaiian shirts. Plus, it further cements my growing rep as the chunky John Waters. I'd change the background, but the pictures of the hula girls aren't transparent (that is they have white backgrounds), so you can see the bind I'm in. Now, if some kind soul reading this would like to make transparent versions of them...

Micah I liked this one much better. The hula girls are the best!

Thumbs up for the hula girls. I'm always for gratuitous T and A.

My life is devoted to T and A, so this template is a natural fit.
