Sip Bacardi like it's my birthday...

Today is my birthday. Buy me stuff (just kidding. Or maybe not.).

They say one is the loneliest number. I think thirty is.

The latter, non-work half of the day wasn't bad, actually. I had some Chinese food (Eight Treasure Duck) and ice cream cake and fielded calls from family and friends. I played with the cutest bulldog puppy. And I opened some presents, of course.

Now it's time for a few episodes of "The Simpsons" before I drift off to sleep and dream about whatever it is grown-ups dream about.

I should explain: the books marked "I really don't wish for this" are just there to remind me that I want to check them out of the library. So, you see, my Amazon Wishlist also serves as a reading list. Confusing, I know.

Oddly enough, Amazon doesn't offer Dago lovin', so I always need to go to the source for that.

Happy Birthday, you old bastard! (Smithers, have the Rolling Stones killed...But sir, those are the Ramon...Never mind! Do as I say!).

Keep watching your mailbox for Mamma Mia! tickets.

I'll be bugging Mr. Postman every day. Or maybe CB can get us comped.

CB - Las Vegas: Home of the Cock Tease

KPMD - This dog was soooooo cute and I wanted to buy him...but not for $3400. So, I'll just go visit him periodically and dream about the day I can afford an English bulldog.

Mom, on the other hand, is really close to getting a new ankle-biter.

You do NOT want to get a bulldog. And if you do, don't make me its vet...not a big fan of futile, thankless tasks.

But they are so damn cute!

And I thought we'd have a deal: you do vet work for me (gratis, of course) and I'll supply you with unlicensed law work.
