This week's Crush is actress
Maggie Gyllenhaal. I've never seen any of her
work (or, for that matter, her
brother's - with the exception of
City Slickers), but I recently saw her interviewed on "The Daily Show" and I was immediately smitten.

She's just so darn cute!

Watch Secretary. Then you won't be able to get her out of your mind. And while you're at it, go watch Donnie Darko. You're missing out!
Yeah, I've read a lot about how Donnie Darko is a great movie, but I just haven't gotten around to renting it. And Secretary looks very intriguing. Hell, the poster is awesome (and I'm not an ass or leg man).
Oh, I meant to tell you earlier that I checked out the Magnetic Fields' Holiday from the library. Haven't listened to it yet, though.
I saw the brother in the awful "Bubble Boy." But that film had a redeeming quality: the cute Marley Shelton.
you wine cooler lovin' crackhead! you haven't seen Donnie Darko? No more blog until you've watched it.
P.S. hooray for Kristine's arse photo...it's so nice I'm in pain right now.
P.P.S. yes, I'm currently drunk, but even if I were sober that arse would be kwa-lit-AY!
thse - hey thanks! I cherish the odd satisfaction I get from passively mooning people all day. Micah. Donnie Darko. Seriously.
The Secretary is fantastic. A little disturbing, but fantastic. She definitely makes the movie although James Spader is great too.
Okay, folks, I'll check out Donnie Darko and Secretary when I get back from Vegas. As for DD - should I go with the director's cut?
How the hell have you not seen Donnie Darko yet??
I know, I know. Until I see it, I'll have to turn in my Indie Hipster badge.
I'll go one better. I OWN Donnie Darko and haven't watched it yet!
Secretary is great, though. I watched it with my 18 year old daughter, not knowing anything at all about the film. That was a LITTLE awkward, but we got over it.
