"Beets suck. You should grow something everyone likes. Grow candy."

If you're not watching "The Office", you're a sucka. I'd say it is easily my favorite show this season (keep in mind "Scrubs" and "24" have not yet aired) and is even better than it was in its first season.

A quote from last week's episode: "I come from a long line of fighters, my maternal grandfather was the toughest guy I ever knew. World War II veteran. He killed twenty men and then spent the rest of the war in an Allied prison camp... My father battled blood pressure and obesity all his life... different kind of fight."

Classic.

once again, i'll have to wait for the dvd version to watch terrific tv.

in the meantime, 'the tick' and 'firefly' are keeping me warm while 'arrested development, season 2' and 'futurama' are waiting in the wings.

Someone's burning through their Netflix rentals. When you do get "The Office", remember: first season (only 6 or 8 episodes) good; second season HILARIOUS.

Someone needs to talk to the network execs. Seriously, Tuesday night are just too busy. What with Nip/Tuck, Gilmore Girls, House, The Office, Commander in Chief and someday Scrubs (assuming it's at Tuesday nights again, but who knows) -- my TiVo can only tape so many shows at once!

jasdye - 40YOV is finally at the dollar theater here in C-Bus. It's funny enough that I'll probably go see it again.

law fairy - Tell me about it: "My Name Is Earl," "The Office," "Boston Legal," and "Commander in Chief." This DVR has really spoiled me. I forget what it's like to watch a program as it airs. Three cheers for time shifting!
