The reason TV was invented

"Bueeeeeeeeno"

Meet Bruno from "La Madrastra". I was introduced to The Greatest Television Character Of All Time via E's "The Soup" and had a chance to catch part of an episode during some downtime in Vegas. Despite what very little I've seen of this show, I'm convinced that it rivals Band of Brothers as The Best Thing Ever Produced For Television.

Thank you for reminding me of this guy. The image of him on the verge of tears (tears of manly, manly anger, no doubt), brought on by whatever travesty was perpetrated against him (in that particular episode) is forever etched in my mind.

I will be tuning in to "La Madrastra" regularly just for Bruno.

I don't think any of us will ever forget him.

Bruno. Women want him. Men want to be him.

You question Bruno's sexual orientation? Great. Now he's going to cry (in an overwrought, manly way). ?Por que?

Yeah, we're all glad that you got out of that city and are now only screwed over financially.

Hopefully, Tommy Girl will make through this so's you, her, and Ginger can all settle down together some day.

Wow. Just wow.

Guess it doesn't help that NOLA (as we're all now calling it) is something like 9 feet BELOW sea level.

As for Bruno, well, I have to side with the Captain on this one. If anything, his name should be Bruce-O.

That's your solution to everything: live under the sea.

OMG... isn't The Soup the best show on television (after La Madrastra, of course!). Another classic moment from last week's episode was about Fabian Basabe, "A hole... a-hole!"

This Bruno character is a classic. And Joel's eyeliner-running bit was beyond hilarious.

"The Soup" is second only to VH1's "Best Week Ever." That's where I get my news!
