One word: Eeeeeeeewwwww!

Go Spiders (7-3 overall, 6-1 conference)! 48-21 over mighty Towson. UMass lost to [snicker] Army, so now we're even. I'm predicting a berth against the Southwest Louisiana State Mud Dogs in the Bourbon Bowl. Scouting report says Bobby Boucher's mama is finally going to concede that foosball is NOT the devil and rush him to the stadium on her swamp boat before halftime.

Oh yeah, the real shocker of the day: Michigan State lost. To Minnesota. By 23. They even gave up a touchdown in the final seconds when Minnesota was trying to be sporting and NOT run up the score.

Naw, man. It's great - like drinking a slice of coffee-infused pumpkin pie.

I must say that I was wrong about Richmond. They started out so terribly, that I wrote their season off. Kudos to them! That's tough about MSU. At least you can take solace in the fact that OSU is on their way to a Big Ten championship, provided all the pieces fall where they are supposed to.

The Waterboy sucks and is Sandler's worst film. Keep in mind that I saw Anger Management in the theater (but have yet to see Little Nicky).

Well, I'll settle for OSU winning a Big Ten championship as long as it isn't Michigan. And hey, at least we beat Notre Dame...back when we were good.

I wasn't implying Waterboy was a good movie, I just thought it would be an apt reference.

And maybe I'll suck it up and try the Pumpkin Spice CoffeeMate.

dubin - Yeah, beathing ND was big. One to remember.

If pumpkin's not your thing, there's also gingerbread and peppermint flavors out there.

spydrz - Please refrain from quoting that movie.

no, you suck, Colonel Sanders!

i'm sorry, i think the waterboy is the second best movie centering around sandler, right behind punch-drunk love. maybe i just liked the character, whereas i couldn't stand the jerk he was in most of his other movies.

than again, i've yet to see 8 Crazy Nights. maybe when i turn Jewish...
