So long, Bluths.

Tonight is the 2 hour season finale (and quite possibly the series finale) of "Arrested Development". I'd like to personally thank this nation's Nielsen families who chose to watch such quality fare as "According to Jim" and "Skeet Shooting With Celebrities" rather than this original and funny show. Let's churn out more reality shows and bland sitcoms!

BTW, last night's episode of "The Office" was sheer brilliance. My favorite part:

Ryan (looking at the camera, full of regret): "I hooked up with her on February 13th."

And Michael's "favorite New York pizza joint" is Sbarro. Ha!

Where will I get my illusionist fill without GOB?? And how will never-nudes learn to accept themselves without people like Tobias???

I think I'm gonna cry...

Will someone please cue Europe's "The Final Countdown"?

AD was fookin' brilliant television. I'll miss the Bluths (and Tobias).

Seriously! Today's paper had an article about the show and there's still no word on the Showtime deal.

I'm going to the gym tonight and will watch these 4 episodes after that (so's I can zip past the commercials).

by Tobias, you mean Nelly Bluth?

the little clue at the end of the show ("not plausible for a tv series," an incredibly balding ron howard says, "i see it more as a movie.")... yeah, i didn't buy it.

come on, showtime!

jasdye - Yeah, I think they were just throwing that in to be cute. I hope Showtime comes through. (Actually, I was rooting for ABC since that'd be free...)

Kate - In the North Carolina boonies...sure. In NYC...nope.
